About the Author and Illustrator
This picture shows Carol and Rachel on the day we met. After working together virtually for two years, it was a joy to have a face-to-face conversation. We hugged as if we were life-long friends. We truly trust that God partnered us together for the purpose of sharing the love of Jesus with many.
The Author
Carol Kolosovsky learned about her Good Shepherd growing up on a fruit farm in Door County, Wisconsin. There she memorized her favorite song “I Am Jesus ’Little Lamb.” A 37-year Christian educator, Kolosovsky enjoyed sharing her deep love for Jesus with young students. Now retired, she continues to write family devotions and Bible lessons for mission outreach.
Carol treasures living in the Good Shepherd’s pasture. While enduring life’s surprising twists and turns, it is a blessing to have the constant love and forgiveness of Jesus.
In Carol’s corner of the pasture, Greenfield, Wisconsin, she lives with her husband, Daniel. She is blessed with five step-children and ten grandchildren. A loving husband, an understanding family, and supportive friends and church family fill her life with great satisfaction. She is often inspired while pole-walking in the great outdoors. She enjoys reading and creating word pictures. The Kolosovskys cherish spending time with family and friends. Connecting with former students is a joy.
